What Is The Return?

Many people around the nation believe that America has been given a critical window of opportunity to repent and return to God. To that end, thousands will gather on the Washington Mall to participate in a movement called “The Return,” set for Sept. 26, 2020, in Washington, D.C., to pray on behalf of our nation and its people.

Believers and leaders from every walk of life are already part of The Return including Dr. James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Ann Graham Lotz, Alveda King, Kevin Jessip, Michele Bachmann, Gordon Robertson, Marcus Lamb, Bishop Harry Jackson—and many more.

For those who are unable to attend the Washington Mall event  in person, this 11-hour event will be simulcast to many churches, synagogues, homes, and cell phones.

The September 26 event is a prayer meeting.  It is NOT a protest.  It is NOT a political rally.  It will NOT support any political party or candidate. We invite you to join us in person at Shalom as we participate by simulcast on Saturday, September 26 beginning at 10 a.m. But you don’t have to wait till September 26 to pray. America needs prayer NOW.

So tell the people: This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Return to Me — this is the declaration of the LORD of Hosts — and I will return to you, says the LORD of Hosts. (Zechariah 1:3 HCSB)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
